Buffalo Bookkeeping

We seem to be stuck in the past with huge companies still mining, scraping, and fracking for energy sources.

There are an estimated 89.9 million barrels of oil produced globally per day. That’s a lot of habitats destroyed, resources used and land ruined, all for the comfort of humanity.

But what if a company decided to move to a greener and more long-term, energy-efficient method instead that didn’t destroy the lives of other organisms?

Meet Solaris.

“There’s no excuse for the old energy-production methods anymore when we have the capability to do better for ourselves, our animals, and our planet.”

Solaris is a company that now commits itself to produce better, more sustainable & recyclable energy for the people.

Celebrating their recent monumental shift in business, they wanted to re-brand, and commit themselves to their new values & goals – they wanted their identity to match this new ethos.

Creating from the ground up, we wanted to understand their reasoning for this shift in business methods so we could truly grasp the new voice & purpose of the brand.

Photography aside, we needed something that made a statement. To do this, a new colour scheme was introduced. It’s easy to fall into the pit of ‘greenwashing’ here, but Solaris meant what they said, and the visual identity had to prove that.

We created something unique for Solaris.

We took the campaign from screen to billboard, developing a simple yet effective advertisement to capture the quality of change that the company aims to take.

The world is our home, and the leading energy companies need to understand this. With the consistent pursuit of wealth, they’re destroying the only place where money has value, and without it, their efforts have been wasted, all for the sake of money.

We were grateful to work on this project, and we aim to continue creating for the world’s most conscious companies!
